Hi, and welcome to my web page. Although I'm still
picking this page apart and adding things here and there,
I think it's finally ready for public consumption!
I hope you enjoy your visit to my "home", and please
let me know what you think by signing my Guestbook below!
Okay, now for the hard part - talking about myself
(something I hate doing, so bear with me...). I'm Stacey,
28, currently living in Los Angeles, California. (Of course,
that's always subject to change!) I'm originally from
Ohio, but I've also lived in Georgia, Virginia/Washington,
DC, and Vermont (in that order) before moving to California 2 1/2
years ago. I have a BS in Psychology (and I know what
most of you are thinking, but BS stands for "Bachelor
of Sciences" degree and not that other phrase
)
from the
University of Georgia
(not that my current
job is really related to psychology, but hey... I'm
still trying to figure out what I want to be when I
grow up, so be patient with me!)
Maybe I'll just
marry into wealth and not have to worry about it (yeah,
don't hold your breath, Mom!)
Okay, down to the "important" stuff... I enjoy reading
(psychological thrillers are my favorite!), writing (mainly amateur poetry -
which you will get to sample later, and the occasional
"novel" to my friends - via e-mail and/or snail-mail),
dancing (I LOVE to dance!
Club dancing, that is - I don't have the coordination for
that "structured" stuff), music (that would be
"listening/dancing to" and not "singing" - I can't
carry a note to save my life, so why victimize the
public?!), traveling (I must, as often as I move
around! I haven't seen
much of the world yet - but that's the key word,
YET), fitness (when I can drag myself to the
gym - yeah, I'm working on that one
;
dancing is much more fun, though, when I get the
chance to go), and hanging out with friends (but most of
them are so far away
). I'd
like to say I'm a great cook, but not quite (unfortunately,
I didn't inherit THAT gene from my mom, but I'm
practicing...). I'd also like to learn how to
rollerblade and play tennis in the very near future, so
maybe I'll be on crutches (from attempting to rollerblade)
the next time you see me.
Okay, that's all I can think of right now, but I'll
update my page if and when something else "pops" into
mind.
Please sign my Guestbook so that I
know you were here! (Plus, I'd like to know what you
think of my attempt to be creative!)
And so that I know how many people have actually seen my
attempt to be creative, I have one of these awesome
"tracking devices" which will also keep track and
report back to me your heart rate and all of your
thought processes while viewing my site. It will also
take a digital picture of your facial reaction to send
back to me because, well, you know what they say... A
picture's worth a thousand words...
And you should be ashamed of yourelf for thinking
that! (Pssst! Oh, and you might want to comb your hair -
it's sticking up a little...)
(haha - scared ya, didn't I?)
Feel free to drop me some e-mail! As I said above,
I love writing! If I know you, you probably
already have my e-mail address (at least one of
them, that is, as I have over a dozen e-mail addresses -
seriously!). But if you just happened
to "surf" in and I don't know you, I love
"meeting" new people (hey, who doesn't need
more cyber friends, right?), and I'll respond to all
mail that I receive!
Just click on the flying envelope below!
And finally, here are some links including pictures
of people who are near and dear to me! (If you don't see the
links yet, then the page isn't done loading - just give
it another minute or two...) Note that some
of the pages are pretty graphic intense, so they may
take a few minutes to load, depending on what type of
connection you have - just sit back, relax, (be patient),
and enjoy!
